I hold a PhD in Pharmacology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I conducted my thesis work in the lab of Dr. Vasan Yegnasubramanian & Dr. Bill Nelson, where I applied cutting edge genomic techniques to examine the roles of androgen receptor (AR), c-MYC, and DNA methyltransferases (DNMT) in prostate cancer.

I grew up in Bethany, a suburb of Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Westview High School in 2013. In 2017, I graduated with honors from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. As an undergraduate research assistant, I investigated the role of hippocampal place cells and grid cells on spatial memory and learning in the lab of Dr. Clifford Kentros.
